A life shaped by movement

From the Pacific Northwest Forward

Raised in the Pacific Northwest, Hannahsita grew up active and played soccer through college. Movement was part of everyday life long before it became part of her professional work.

That early relationship with movement continued to evolve as she studied education, explored yoga, and eventually found aerial. Each part of that path now informs how she creates space for children to move, notice, question, and discover.

Education and movement

A Grounded Foundation for Teaching

Hannahsita earned a Bachelor of Education in Biology with a Minor in Health Education and Exercise Physiology. She also became a Certified Personal Trainer in Slow-Motion.

This background gives her more than one way to think about movement. Education asks her to observe how a student is learning. Movement study helps her introduce physical ideas with purpose. Together, they support a teaching style that pays attention to the person in front of her.

Discovering yoga and aerial

A Practice That Kept Expanding

Hannahsita completed a 300-hour Yoga Instructor certification through CorePower, followed by AntiGravity Yoga and Galaxy Lifestyle training. She later became a Trilogy Sanctuary certified Aerial Yoga Instructor.

Across more than six years of teaching yoga and aerial yoga, her experience has grown through regular classes, workshops, and helping lead aerial teacher trainings. The settings may change, but close observation and responsive teaching remain central to her work.

How she teaches

Teaching as a Guide

Hannahsita does more than demonstrate a movement and ask a child to copy it. She watches, listens, encourages, and offers the kind of challenge that leaves room for discovery.

Curiosity helps shape the lesson. Support changes with the child, and progress is understood personally rather than through comparison. Her aim is to guide with care while giving each child meaningful opportunities to try, explore, and find a way forward.
